I see you specialize in pain relief. Do you offer Massage Therapy for
clients that are not in pain?
Yes.
Sometimes Massage Therapy is perfect to provided much needed relaxation and rejuvenation. Some people may choose to combine
Massage Therapy with other therapies, such as CranioSacral Therapy. Each person comes in with their own intentions and
I do my best to honor that.
Receiving
regular Massage Therapy is a great way to prevent muscular pain from ever starting.
Do I need to know
which therapy I want to receive? No.
You only need to know what you would like for your outcome and I can either decide or help you decide which therapy would
best suit your needs.
What should I wear? If you are coming in for pain
relief, it is advisable to bring loose clothing with you.
If you are coming in for Massage Therapy, you will undress in private and cover yourself with a sheet and
blanket provided for you. You will be appropriately draped for the entire massage ensuring your privacy.
I had a deep tissue massage once before
and it really hurt. Is that how you work?
No. Massage Therapy that causes pain also causes a reaction
in your body that says: "invasion, invasion, hold on". It has been my experience that work that causes pain
is not effective. With that said, it is possible to do deeper work without causing pain and I work with you to keep
your massage pain-free.
I'm
on a limited budget. Do you have any way to help?
Please speak
with me directly.
I have had many massages before and I
feel great when I leave but in a few days I am right back where I started. What is your experience?
My clients report to me that the therapies
I use give them much longer relief than massages they have had in the past. (see Testimonials) To make it last
even longer, I can assign specific "homework" to help you reinforce and continue your progress between sessions.
